Rebecca The Red is Moving!

27 Jul

Hello my wonderful and lovely readers! I’ve got a couple of things to cover:

First, happiest Friday to you! What are your plans this weekend? I’ll be shooting at the WOD Gear Team Series in Southern California tomorrow at The Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. If you’re local (or visiting), come out and watch – it’s free for spectators! Plus there will be some SoCal favorites out there competing (in case you missed the CrossFit Games): Katie Hogan, Becca Voigt, Kristan Clever, Andrea Ager and so much more awesome! As always, if you’re there,  I would love to meet you!

Also, I will no longer be posting from WordPress anymore. I bought www.RebeccaTheRed.com, and as of yesterday (with the help from a friend on the east coast), all Rebecca The Red posts were transferred to that site, so when I post (new content) on my domain name, it will not show up here anymore (despite your subscription). I’m trying to figure out the subscription plugin for the new domain name, so sit tight.

So what does this mean (in the meantime)? Well, it means that if you want to keep viewing photos & reading content from Rebecca The Red, you’ll have to update your bookmark from http://rebeccathered.wordpress.com to www.RebeccaTheRed.com. Also, I have a Facebook Page where my posts will still go to, so that’s another way to access content. Either way, I want to say thank you for following! I have some great new posts in the works for the new site that I cannot wait to share with you all, and of course keep an eye out for the photos from this weekend that I will post next week! Until then.

xoxo

Have A Muddy Weekend!

What are you up to this weekend? Any interesting plans for the summer? A group of us from CrossFit 310 will be running Tough Mudder up on Big Bear mountain tomorrow morning. I’m nervous yet excited at the same time. I’ve never done this kind of mileage on foot before (running or walking), so it’ll be pretty interesting to see how it all unfolds. I’m a little intimidated by the ice pool and the electric shock, but I know we’ll come out on top. Anyway, have a great weekend! Here are some posts from around the web . . .

Hey guys. What are you up to this “holiday” weekend? I’m going Standup Paddleboarding (again) in Long Beach tomorrow, but this time in a marina, so no crazy waves or possible shark attacks. Then in the evening, I’m going to picnic and watch Labyrinth at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. Besides moving a few of my remaining belongings out of my house on Sunday, it should be a pretty relaxing weekend. Hopefully for you too! Here are some posts from around the web . . . . .

CrossFit for Hope in Photos

CrossFit Redondo was kind enough to let me stop by and shoot their CrossFit for Hope fundraiser last weekend. They were able to raise $6,782, which is huge for a brand-spaking-new affiliate. They’re in the top 50 affiliates who raised money, ranking at number 34. I know I linked my readers to their donation page, so if you did in fact donate, I wanted to say thank you so, so, so much! Once again, the CrossFit community and its unwaivering support for causes bigger than itself never ceases to impress and humble me. Congratulations to CrossFit Redondo for a job well done!

Hello friends! What are your plans for this lovely weekend? This is the first weekend in 4 months that I don’t have homework! The semester finished on Wednesday - My professor skimmed over my research paper and told me I got an A in the class, so needless to say I’m feeling pretty weightless at the moment. PLUS, I’m really excited to be taking pictures tomorrow at CrossFit Redondo for their CrossFit for Hope fundraiser. I’ll post them next week. Anyway, have a great weekend and here are some posts from around the web . . . . . . .
