I had the pleasure of going to Newport Beach this past Sunday to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We rented a boat on Balboa Island and my friend’s mother, Chris Oliver, is a food stylist for Hollywood. She brought an array of absolutely amazing food which included: Chicken, freshhhhhh salmon, a pasta salad with artichoke hearts (yum!) and grilled vegetables (squash, eggplant, asparagus, zuchinni). There was something for everyone and it was all SO delish! We had champagne of course to celebrate the birthday girl and then for dessert we had an arrangment of fruit (pictured above) with cheese. The best part? The whipped cream! She used cool whip, mint & orange zest with a special ingrident. I pretty much wanted to demolish the entire bowl it was that good.
